EVENTS 2023

BRAND ACTIVATION

-
Developed the liquid and glass simulations - transforming the M80’s materials into art-directed expressions of elegance, precision, and power.

Developed the procedural systems, simulations, and motion language used across Microsoft's 2023 event branding, creating a flexible visual framework that could scale across digital broadcasts, hybrid experiences, and live productions.

Working closely with the creative team, I designed Houdini-based simulation tools and procedural workflows that allowed motion, lighting, and dimensional graphics to remain consistent across a wide variety of deliverables. Rather than producing isolated assets, the focus was on building a system that could evolve while maintaining Microsoft's visual identity.

The work centered on creating motion that felt both precise and human—balancing technical sophistication with clarity. Every simulation and animation was art-directed to support the broader branding language, resulting in a scalable toolkit that could adapt seamlessly across keynote presentations, product launches, and global live events.

Event Films

-
Flagship Material

The following collection features five flagship films created as part of Microsoft's 2023 event identity. Together, they established a cohesive motion language used across keynote presentations, product launches, and global conferences throughout the year.
